WordPress Website Care is an optional service for the routine technical maintenance of your website. Care starts at $38.50 per month including GST for a simple WordPress website. WooCommerce and sites with more complex plugins or functionality are reviewed and priced separately.
What is included?
- WordPress and plugin updates and security patches.
- Checks after updates to help catch compatibility problems.
- Additional Cloudflare firewall protection.
- Uptime checks every 20 minutes.
- An extra set of offsite backups, separate from hosting backups.
- Priority support from Damien.
These measures reduce risk; they cannot guarantee that a website will never be hacked or experience a problem. Priority support means priority in the support queue, with response arrangements confirmed before starting.
What is separate?
Hosting, content changes and development are separate services. A support plan can include an agreed allowance for changes, or occasional work can be quoted or covered by prepaid hours. Care does not include unlimited website changes.
Your plan sets out the troubleshooting and recovery work included if an update causes a problem. Unsupported plugins, existing faults or substantial development may need a separate quote.
