Web hosting is the service that stores and serves a website’s files and data so visitors can access it online.
For WordPress and similar websites, a suitable hosting service is normally required separately from domain registration. Shopify and BigCommerce include website hosting in their platform subscriptions.
Hosting, domain registration, email, routine software maintenance and requested website changes are separate services unless your proposal specifically includes them. Paying for hosting does not automatically include content edits or a WordPress care plan.
The current starter website package includes the first year of hosting, with annual renewals after that. See the package details and the care and support options for current information.
