What to expect when migrating to Shopify Print

  • 0

We scope a Shopify migration around your catalogue, customers, order history, content, design, integrations and changing URLs. We review your existing store before confirming the work, price and schedule.

Themes and apps

BigCommerce themes, WordPress themes and WooCommerce plugins do not run on Shopify. We can use your existing design as a reference, then configure or develop a Shopify theme and review replacements for the features you need. Shopify subscriptions, paid themes, apps and migration tools are identified separately.

Data and search visibility

We agree which records and fields will transfer, including any mapping or migration tool required, and check the imported records. We plan redirects and preserve useful content and metadata. Search rankings and traffic can fluctuate while search engines process the move; unchanged rankings cannot be guaranteed.

Review and launch

Your current store can remain available while the new store is built. We agree the review, testing, final data update and domain change, including how orders and stock changes during the transition will be handled.

We also check the email provider and preserve required DNS records when changing the website connection. A website migration does not automatically require an email migration.

See our Shopify migration services, then send your store address and requirements for a tailored scope.
